Abimefluid
A person whose gender is, deep and infinite.
Abroromantic
A person who fluctuates between romantic attraction and not experiencing it, and/or experiencing to different strengths.
Abrosexual
Abrosexual refers to an individual whose sexuality is fluid and fluctuates between different sexualities.
Ace
Often used to shorten Asexual.
Ace Spectrum
The range of asexual identities. Because there isn't just one way to be asexual- to not feel and/ or never have felt sexual attraction.
Aceflux/Aroflux
A person who identifies on the ace spectrum, but their identity is fluid; their level of sexual attraction or urges is changeable.
Advocate
A person who actively works to end in tolerance, educate others, and support social equality for a marginalised group.
Aegoromantic
A person who enjoys the idea of romance but does not wish to be a participant in romantic activities.
Aegosexual
An asexual person who has sexual attraction but only for situations they are not participating in.
Aerogender
A person who believes there gender is influenced by their surroundings.
Affectugender
A person whose gender is affected by their mood.
Agender
Someone who does not identify as any particular gender; Genderless.
Agenderflux
A person who has a "base gender" of agender but can also fluctuate to and from masculine and/or feminine genders.
Akioromantic
A person who feels attraction but does not want the feeling returned in anyway.
Akiosexual
A person who experiences sexual attraction, but has their feelings fade if reciprocated.
Alexigender
A person who feels like they are genderfluid, but unsure of what specific genders they fluctuate between.
Aliagender
A person who identifies as nonbinary that doesn't fit into existing gender schemas or constructs.
Aliquasexual
A person who does not normally feel attraction, but can feel it on occasion under specific circumstances
Aliusgender
A person who feels as though their gender identity cannot be described by "stereotypical" gender descriptors.
Alloromantic
Someone who has the urge and/or inclination to have a romantic relationship with other people.
Allosexual
Someone who has the urge and/or inclination to have a Sexual relationship with other people.
Ally
A person who supports a group without being part of that group themselves.
Ameregender
A person who feels their gender changes depending on who they are in love with. A form of genderfluidity.
Ambigender
A person who feels as though they have the soul of a woman and a man, but do not feel comfortable using the term "two-spirit".
Ambonec
A person who identifies as both a man and woman, yet neither at the same time
Amicagender
A person whose gender changes depending on who they are with
Androgyne
An individual's gender identity, a personal sense of one's own gender, may be described as androgynous if they feel that they have both masculine and feminine aspects.
Androgyneromantic
Romantic attraction to people who are androgynous.
Androgynesexual
Sexual attraction to people who are androgynous.
Androgynous
Ambiguously gendered in appearance. This can refer to physical characteristics such as hair or build and also gender expression, such as clothes or make-up.
Aphobia
Discrimination towards asexual people Also known as acephobia encompasses a range of negative attitudes, behaviours and feelings towards asexuality or people who identify as part of the asexual spectrum.
Aporagender
Aporagender is both a specific gender identity and an umbrella term for being a non-binary gender separate from man, woman, or anything in between, while still having a strong and specific gendered feeling.
Aquarigender
A person whose gender is perpetually changing. Flowing gender that changes slowly and constantly between an infinite amount of genders.
Arcsexual
A person who feels averse, repulsed, or conflicted towards sex.
Aro
Short for aromantic
Aromantic
Someone who doesn't feel the urge or inclination to have a romantic relationship with other people, an aromantic person may identify as sexual and enjoy a sexual relationship.
Asexual
Someone who does not usually feel sexual attraction or sexual urge towards other people.
Autosexual
A person who prefers masturbation and self-gratification to sexual activity with others.
Axigender
A person experiences two genders that sit on opposite ends of an axis, these genders are experienced one at a time with no overlapping.
B
B is for
Bellusromantic
A person who has an interest in conventionally romantic things yet does not desire a relationship. Part of the aromantic.
Binder
An undergarment used to alter or reduce the appearance of one's breasts (worn similarly to a sports bra).
Binding
The (sometimes daily) process of wearing a binder, Binding often used to change the way others read and perceive one's anatomical sex characteristics, and/or form gender expression.
Bi-Erasure
The act of belittling, demeaning or obscuring the existence of bisexual people.
Bigender
Someone who identifies as two genders, this could be as both male and female, or two gender across the gender spectrum.
Bigenderflux
A person whose gender is both two genders and fluctuating in intensity. This can occur in multiple ways.
Binary
A system of identification involving only two things. One example is the gender binary Male/Man or Female/woman.
Biological Sex
A medical term used to refer to the chromosomal, hormonal and anatomical characteristics that are used to classify an individual as female or male or intersex, often referred to simply as “sex” “physical Sex” or specifically “sex assigned at birth”
Biphobia
Discrimination against bisexual people, encompasses a range of negative attitudes, behaviours and feelings towards bisexuality or people who identify as part of the bisexual spectrum. Can include things such as bi erasure.
Biromantic
Romantic feelings and the desire to have a relationship with people of two or more genders.
Bisexual
Sexual attraction towards people of two or more genders.
Boyflux
A person who feels mostly or all male most of the time but experiences fluctuating intensities of male identity.
Butch
Butch is a term used to describe someone who expresses themselves in typically a masculine way.
C is for
Cancegender
A genderfluid form of agender in which one is fluid between agender and it's spectrum.
Cavusgender
A person with depression; when you feel one gender when not depressed and another when depressed.
Cetrogender
A person whose gender is non-binary with specific feminine, masculine, or neutral feelings.
Cetrosexual
A gender non-binary person who only feels sexual attraction towards those whose gender also doesn't fit in the gender binary.
Cisgender
A person who's assigned gender at birth matches their gender identity.
Closeted
A slang term for when a person identifies as LGBT+ but has not shared this aspect of their identity with friends, family and the wider community.
Coming Out
When a person shares their LGBT+ identity with friends, family and the wider community.
Community
An umbrella term for the LGBT+ people, activists, organisations and their supporters. Although not all LGBT+ people consider themselves as part of community. generally, the community seen a s a supportive environment.
Cupioromantic
A person who does not experience romantic attraction but has a desire to be in a romantic relationship.
Cupiosexual
A person who doesn't experience sexual attraction but desires a sexual relationship.
D
D is for
Deadnaming
The use of a transgender person's birth name, if they have not kept that name on transitioning. Using the “dead” name can be hurtful, as it ignores the person's chosen name and often misgenders them.
Demifluid
A non-binary gender identity that is partially fluid and part static. This is different from genderfluid and demiflux
Demiflux
A person who feels like they of have multiple genders, some static and some fluctuating.
Demigender
An umbrella term for gender identities where someone feels only partial connection to a gender identity or even gender itself. A person who identifies as demigender may identify with one or more genders.
Demiman/Demiboy
A person whose gender identity is mainly, but not completely male. Some feel their identity is also part another gender, others identify only with male gender identity.
Demiromantic
Someone who only feels romantic attraction to people whom they have formed a strong emotional connection.
Demisexual
Someone who only feels sexual attraction to people with whom they have formed a strong emotional connection.
Demiwoman/Demigirl
A person whose gender identity is mainly, but not completely female. Some feel their identity is also part another gender, others identify only with female gender identity.
Diomoric
A person whose gender identity is non-binary and who's attracted to relationships with other non-binary people.
Drag
The term drag refers to the performance of masculinity, femininity or other forms of gender expression, often for entertaining.
Dreadsexual
A person whose sexual orientation fluctuates, when sexual attraction is felt, it is accompanied by a strong feeling of dread or anxiety.
Duosexual
A person who feels as though they bounce between two specific sexual orientations (such as: bisexual and demisexual).
Dysphoria
The feeling of discomfort or unease. Experiences of gender dysphoria aren't always universal, however one common description people have of gender dysphoria is feeling “trapped” which does not align with their gender identity.
E
E is for
Egender
A person who refuses to identify within the gender spectrum. Similar to Aliagender, Videgender, and Nescio Gender.
Egogender
A person whose gender can only be defined by oneself and is a unique an individualistic gender.
Enbian
A relationship or attraction in which all participants are non-binary.
Erasure
The act of ignoring an individual or group's existence or right to exist, or insufficiently representing them or taking them into account.
Exgender
A person whose gender identity cannot be described ("is beyond") the gender spectrum.
F
F is for
Female to Male (FTM)
An identifier, indicating that a person has transitioned/is transitioning from their assigned birth sex of female to their true gender of male.
Femme
Femme is a term used to describe someone who expresses themselves in a typically feminine way.
Finsexual
A person who feels attraction to fem(me)-identifying people
Flexible
A suffix usually attached to a gender or sexual identity, indicating that someone's identity is not fixed and moves within the spectrum.
Fluid
A suffix usually attached to a gender or sexual identity, indicating that someone's identity is not fixed and moves within the spectrum.
Fluidflux
A person whose gender identity moves between two or more genders and fluctuates in intensity. Combination of genderfluid and genderflux.
Flux
A suffix usually attached to a gender or sexual identity, indicating that someone's identity is not fixed and moves within the spectrum.
Frayromantic
A person who has a romantically attracted to strangers and acquaintances on a regular basis but fades once they get to know someone.
Fraysexual
A person who has a sexual attraction for strangers and acquaintances on a regular basis but fades once they get to know someone.
G
G is for
Gay
Homosexual can refer to people of any gender identity but is most commonly used to refer to homosexual men.
Gemigender
A person who feels they have two opposing gender identities at once.
Gender Dysphoria
A feeling of discomfort, that your assigned gender doesn't match your true gender.
Gender Euphoria
A feeling of ecstatic happiness and peace with your gender identity and expression.
Gender Expression
How an individual chooses to show or display their gender. This could be through appearance, actions, how they speak as well as various other factors.
Gender Identity
The internal sense of a person's gender. Put simply, how you feel in regard to your own gender.
Gender Indifferent
An identification where the person is uninterested in their gender identity.
Gender Neutral
An identification where a person does not identify as one gender more than any other.
Gender Nonconforming
An umbrella term for any gender identities that don't match societies gender norms, i.e male or female. Other terms for this include gender diverse and gender variant.
Gender Punk
A way of presenting yourself that deliberately plays with gender.
Gender Roles
Societal expectations about how different genders should act.
Gender Fluid
Someone who has no fixed gender identity within the gender spectrum. They may identify as a different gender from one day to the next.
Genderflux
Someone who has no fixed identity within the gender spectrum, they may identify as a different gender from one day to the next.
Genderless
A person who feels they have no gender.
Genderqueer
An umbrella term for a person who’s gender identity is non-binary.
Girlflux
A person who feels mostly or all female most of the time but experiences fluctuating intensities of female identity.
Greygender
A person who identifies as having a gender that is mostly outside of the binary but is weak and can barely be felt.
Greyromantic
Someone who sometimes feels inclined towards romantic relationship and sometimes does not.
Greysexual
Someone who sometimes feels inclined towards sexual attraction and sometimes does not.
GSRM
An initialism standing for `gender, sexual and romantic minorities.
Gynesexual/Gynephillia
A person who is attracted to femininity or female anatomy, regardless of whether the object of one's affection identifies as a female.

H is for
Heteroflexible
A person predominantly heterosexual but not exclusively so.
Heteroromantic
A preference for romantic relationships with people of different genders.
Heterosexual
A sexual preference for people from different genders.
Homoflexiable
A person predominantly homosexual but not exclusively so.
Homophobia
A prejudice against or dislike of homosexual people.
Homoromantic
A preference for romantic relationships with people of the same gender.
Homosexual
A sexual preference for people of the same gender.

I is for
IAFAB
Initialism, standing for `intersex assigned female at birth`.
IAMAB
Initialism, standing for `intersex assigned male at birth`.
Intergender
A gender identity where a person identifies as a mix of the binary genders.
Intersectionality
The connection between social categories such as sexuality, gender, race and social-economic status.
Intersex
A person who was born sex characteristics that do not wholly belong in either category of male or female.
J is for
Juxera
Juxera is defined as a gender similar to female, but separate and entirely on its own and is a gender in and of itself.
K is for
Kalosromantic
A person desiring a romantic relationship but not being romantically attracted to anyone in specific categories.
L
L is for
Lesbian
A woman who is sexually attracted to another woman.
LGBTQIA+
An umbrella initialism that groups together members of the community

Librafluid
A genderfluid person who feels mostly agender but has a strong connection that fluctuates between other genders.

Libidoist
A person who has a sex drive but does not experience sexual attraction or urges towards other people.
Lipstick Lesbian
A feminine lesbian who is attracted to other feminine female-identified people.
Lithromantic
A romantic attraction where a person can feel romantic attraction but does not seek reciprocation or a romantic relationship.

M is for
Male To Female
An identifier, indicating that a person has transitioned/is transitioning from their assigned birth sex of male to their true gender of female.
Man (Male)
A person who identifies as male.
Marginalised
A community that is diminished or treated as insignificant by society, and that does not have an active voice or say in that society.
Masexuality
Sexual attraction to masculinity and/or men.
Maverique
A third gender that exists outside of the gender binary, is neither male or female but another gender entirely.
Maxigender
A gender identity that encompasses all genders available.
Monoromanticism
Romantic attraction to and the urge to have romantic relationships with only one gender.
Monosexuality
Sexual attraction to one gender.
Multigender
A gender identity where a person identifies as more than one gender.
Multisexuality
Sexual attraction to more than one gender.
N
N is for
Neuroromantic
A person with romantic attraction to many genders/sexes but not all.
Neutrois
A person whose gender identity is neutral. They identify as neither male or female, a mix of the two or a different gender that is neither male or female.
Ninsexual
A person who is sexually attracted to androgynous people.
Nomaromantic
A person who is romantically attracted to and/or wishes to be in a romantic relationship with anyone who isn't a man.
Nomaxeual
Sexual urges and attraction towards anyone who isnt a man. A person who identifies as nomasexual might feel sexual attraction to woman and also non-binary people.
Non-Binary
Novigender
A person who feels as though their gender identity is too complicated to pin down.
Novoromantic
A person whose romantic attractions are different depending on the gender they identify as at the time.
Novosexual
A person whos sexual identity is different depending on the gender they identify as at the time.
Nowomaromantic
A person who is romantically attracted to and/or wishes to be in a romantic relationship with anyone who isn't a woman.
Nowomansexual
Sexual urges and attraction towards anyone who isnt a woman. A person who identifies as nomasexual might feel sexual attraction to man and also non-binary people.
O
O is for
Omnigender
A person whose gender identity consists of many or all genders.
Omingender
A person who feels sexual attraction towards anyone regardless of gender or human identity.
Out
When a person has disclosed their sexual or gender identity to friends, family and/or colleagues etc
Outing/Outed
The non-consensual reveal of a person's gender or sexual identity by someone other than themselves.

Pangender
A person whose gender identity consists of many or all genders.
Pansexual
A person who has a sexual urges towards and is sexually attracted to people of any gender.
Panromantic
A person who is romantically attracted to and wishes to have a relationship with people of any gender.
Placiosexual
A person who feels little to no desire to receive sexual acts but expresses desire to perform them on someone else.
Polyamory
A relationship consisting of more than two participants or the lifestyle in which someone could have multiple partners at the same time.
Polyromantic
Romantic attraction to or the desire to be in a relationship with more than one gender.
Polysexual
Sexual urges towards and attraction to more than one gender.
Pomoromantic
A person who does not wish his or her romantic attraction to be put into a conventional category.
Pomosexual
A person who does not wish his or her sexuality to be put into a conventional category.
Privilege
When rights, priorities or special attention is given to one person
or group of people and not others.
Pronoun
A word used to refer to a person or object when their name is not used, usually gendered although there are some genderless pronouns in existence.
Q
Q is for
Queer
An umbrella term for sexual and gender identities that are not heterosexual or cisgender.
Queerplatonic
A close but non-sexual, non-romantic relationship that is beyond what most would consider friendship.
Questioning
When a person is unsure of their sexual or gender identity.
Quiogender
Feeling as if the concept of gender is inapplicable or nonsensical to oneself.
Quoiromantic
When a person is unsure if they experience romantic attraction and the urge to be in a romantic relationship or not.
Quiosexual
When a person is unsure if they experience sexual attraction and the urge for sexual activity or not.

R is for
Recipromantic
A person who does not experience romantic attraction to someone until they know that the person is attracted to them.
Recipirosexual
A person who experiences attraction only after realising someone is attracted to them.
Requiesromantic
A person who feels too emotionally exhausted to experience romantic attraction.
S is for
Sapiosexual
A person who finds intelligence sexually attractive or arousing.
Self ID
The act of knowing or experiencing your gender or sexual identity.
Sex
Skoliromantic
A romantic identity where a person is romantically attracted to people who are non-binary or transgender.
Skoliosexual
A sexual identity where a person is sexually attracted to people who are non-binary or transgender.
Spectrasexual
A person who is sexually attracted to a wide range of sexes, genders, and gender identities.
Stigma
Societal prejudice and distaste towards a person, group of people, identity, act or behaviour.
T
T is for
Thymsexual
A person who feels sexual attraction, but the direction of the attraction changes depending on their emotional state of being.
Transgender
Someone whose true gender is different to the gender they were assigned at birth based on their sex.
Transfeminine
Transgender people who were assigned male at birth but identify on the gender spectrum as feminine.
Transition
The process of affirming a person's true gender, sometimes altering appearance, medically or surgically changing their body, name or any other action they take to alleviate dysphoria.
Transmasculine
Transgender people who were assigned female at birth but identify on the gender spectrum as masculine.
Transman
A person who was assigned female at birth, but whose true gender is male.
Transexual
A transsexual person is someone who experiences a gender identity that is inconsistent with their assigned sex, and desires to permanently transition to the sex or gender with which they identify, usually seeking medical assistance (including gender affirming therapies, such as hormone replacement therapy and gender affirming surgery) to help them align their body with their identified sex or gender.
Transwoman
A person who was assigned male at birth, but whose true gender is female.
Trigender
A genderfluid identity that goes beyond the binary gender identity (varying between male and female), literally three genders.
Triromantic
Romantic attraction to three genders.
Trisexual
Sexual attraction to three genders.
Tryromantic
Having no or few initial romantic limits, but very open to experimenting.
Trysexual
Having no or few initial sexual limits, only deciding what you do not enjoy sexually after experiencing it.
Two spirit
Two Spirit is a third gender found in some Native American cultures, often involving birth-assigned men or women taking on the identities and roles of the opposite sex.
U, V, W, X, Y, Z
V is for
Validate
To support the accuracy and truth of something.
Vapogender
A person whose gender feels like smoke, can be seen on a shallow level but once you go deeper, it disappears.
Verangender
A person whose gender seems to shift/change the moment it is identified.
Vocigender
A person whose gender is weak or hollow. It is almost similar meaning to greygender, where the gender identity is weak.
W is for
Woman (female)
Someone who identifies as female.
Z is for
Ze/Zir
(Gender neutral pronouns)
Ze is the subjective case for example ze ran to the bus.
Zir is is the possessive case for example Zirs eyes were brown.
Zedromantic
Someone who has the urge and inclination to have a romantic relationship with other people.
Zedsexual
Someone who has sexual urges and feels sexual attraction towards other people. Some prefer it to the term allosexual as it does not originate from scientific terminology.
